A Comic for QAMAR Magazine

Drawing this multi-page comic for the first Muslim-lifestyle magazine in German has been such an adventure, I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to do it! Muhamed, the chief-editor of QAMAR, wrote a piece about how Muslim women are somehow perceived to be afraid to shake hands, or to be more specific, the hands of men. He described how this is a matter not really tied neither to religion nor gender, but something of personal preference.

Since this was my first conventional editorial comic, I experienced a steep learning curve throughout the project, and cannot be more happy that I’ve done it!

The comic was published in the second issue of the magazine, in the spring of 2021.
